Gavod (Japanese: ガウォード) is a Daemon in Oninaki. He wields a Shieldcannon. He has slow, heavy hitting melee attacks along with large range attack skills and a versatile shield.

- Attack while charging forward behind a shield of your Daemon's might. Restores HP when Manifested.
- Ceiling (1)
- Bombard the ground, knocking enemies skyward and striking them with the weight of the shieldcannon. Power increases when Manifested.
- Freedom (3)
- Fire a projectile laser attack while spinning back-to-back with your Daemon. Number of hits increased when Manifested.
- Adamantine (1)
- Your Daemon becomes an advancing shield, damaging enemies it touches and absorbing shots. Deals more damage when Manifested.
- Eclipse (1)
- Perform a projectile attack with an exploding shot. Hold button before triggering to increase power. Charge time is shorter when Manifested.
- Flank Assault (3)
- Perform a pincer attack with your Daemon, crushing the enemy. Decreases Attack and Defense. The effect is enhanced when Manifested.
- Laser Barrage (3)
- Perform a projectile laser attack that deals multiple hits. Hold the button to increase the duration. Higher critical hit chance when Manifested.

- Create a field on annihilation. Deals more damage based on number of shield blocks. All stats increase within the field when Manifested.

Story[]
Updated Caption: A mercenary who lived in a time of strife. Unable to let go of his guilt at failing in his duties, Gavod became a Daemon.
Gavod was raised on a continent sealed away before the Age of Magic. He traveled to the Inner Kingdom to run an orphanage after his wife and child died in war. Although broad-minded and shrewd, this is masked by his oafishness. He was aware of the danger that Kushi posed, but this only hardened his resolve to help out.
