A Daemon (Japanese: 鬼ビ人, onibito) is a special type of Lost who could not be reincarnated, damned, or banished. They are able to bond with a Watcher, lending their weapon and skills. Kagachi can bring up to four Daemons with him, and switch between them during battle to suit the situation.
An unbonded Daemon's location is indicated by a green marker on the mini map. The Daemon appears in the Beyond as a glowing figure, and can be approached to form a bond.
The Daemon currently selected affects Kagachi's stats. Attack, Defense, Max HP and Speed are expressed as percentages; for example 106% means Kagachi's stat is multiplied by 106% (a 6% increase). Inertia and Force are given on a scale of 1 to 5; Inertia is resistance to knockback and topple, while Force is the power to inflict knockback and topple.

Unique beings that died with intense, unresolved emotions, but did not become Fallen. Dying under these circumstances alone does not guarantee a Daemon will form, and the true cause is still shrouded in mystery.
Most Daemons lose their memories, but gain great power in exchange. It is thought that Daemons are physical manifestations of the beliefs and ideals they once held in life.
